The Babcock School of Management is a highly ranked business school* that has earned a reputation for developing well-rounded management executives. This multi-dimensional emphasis is one aspect of what differentiates Babcock's MBA program from the offerings of peer institutions. Indeed, the Babcock School has been acknowledged in the Wall Street Journal and in other rankings for its ability to improve the earnings performance and the overall impact of its graduates.

Babcock has also demonstrated its ability to launch a nationally-recognized Institute, as the Angell Center for Entrepreneurship has achieved prominence during its first years of operations. This is one example of the palpable appetite for excellence at Babcock.

Schools like the Babcock Graduate School of Management invest intense effort in recruiting and producing high-quality MBAs for the marketplace. The school's focus is knowledge transfer to and among students and the strengthening of students' management skills. However, little attention is devoted to developing ways to enrich the life, earnings and impact of alumni beyond graduation. That is the context for this opportunity: Babcock can launch the nation's first, University-directed Life Stewardship Institute.

*As of 2002, Babcock is one of only 33 schools worldwide ranked as a leading business school by the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Forbes, Financial Times, and U.S. News and World Report.
