This will be done with the specific aim of making each Institute participant a better steward of the resources they hold and the resources they impact. The mission of the Institute will be facilitated through peer collaboration, targeted learning experiences, personal stewardship reflection exercises, and participation in impact initiatives. The profile of The Institute will be that of a leader in a new area of academic research and student preparation. Its outreach will be initially limited to the Babcock School's Executive MBA students and alumni, then to other Babcock and Wake Forest students, and then to a broader set of people and institutions. Developing a life stewardship focus and related competencies in the context of ongoing alumni gatherings will optimize each participant's ability to apply tools and concepts they have learned at Babcock, while leveraging the University's resources to stay on the cutting edge.
